I got a stainless 6.5 inch Ruger Blackhawk and really love it.  I can't tell you about the other two.

I think you would be happy with either.  The Uberti is the 'old' style action and you can only carry it with 5 rounds safely.  The Heritage has a transfer bar and is safe with 6.  Uberti has a fine reputation and I have owned several and enjoyed them.  But I have to say, I really like the looks of the Heritage.  Were it my choice, I try the Heritage.  Whatever you choose to do, enjoy that gun!  44 Man

sorry, mrbigtexan, just noticed your post. I have the Uberti Thunderer with 3 1/2" barrel. True it is the old style so only 5 for carry but for range work I load six. I love this gun, just holding it brings up many memories of almost 50 years ago and handling some old timers guns. It is the .45, the more I shoot it the more I like it. Don't know about the other but others on here have a lot of knowledge and I listen to them but my gut says "Uberti".

If you got the extra $$$$$$ go with Uberti, but Heritage isn’t a bat choice.

Pietta and Uberti are both Italian and both have good reputations.  Of course, you could pay a little more and buy American.  Rugers aren't much more expensive.

Parts for SAA clones are generally always gonna need fitting, since everyone and their dog makes them now. I'd just get a Ruger. You can always order parts that'll work, and they don't go in and out of business or change partners and suppliers like the imports do.

I was in the same situation last year as you are now. I wanted my 1st single action army. I literally looked at all that was available..

I ended up with a nickel plated heratage .45..   Uberty here in fl as well as ruger were atleast $100.oo or more for the same type of gun.  While researching the diffenent companies, i found out that heratage uses peitta parts but is finished and assembled here in florida.

You may or may not know but pietta and uberti are all the same company all owned by beretta./benelly

I liked the idea that you don't have to send it overseas for warranty, repair. etc like taurus for ex.
I did have to send it back because it shot too far the left for me.  They sent it back to me with a new barrel and front site.  Now it's dead on 2" at 25yards. sandbag rest.  EXCELLENT SERVICE. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO BUY ANOTHER HERATAGE.  BTW. I ended up paying $340.00 for it delivered.
