This brings back good memories as the shooting could be fast & furious on the rabbits in my youth (not that I did that well) had to switch to a shotgun of course to teach them a lesson but then moved on to a rimfire handgun in selected areas.

I batted clean-up for some friends that used to bowhunt bunnies.

They used flu-flu arrows with 44mag cases on the business end of the shaft.

I brought the lone single shot 20 gauge - full choke.  If the rabbit got out passed bow range, I wadded it up.

I tried it a few times.  Great fun.
