Yote Hay Day
« on: April 11, 2009, 03:03:44 PM »
Looks like the coyotes have taken over what's left of my winter hay.   Early the other morning I took this shot (photo) at approx 1200 yards with 10x Cannon Pwr Shot.   Was in a hurry so probably could have gotten a clearer shot if I'd taken my time.   They stretched, scratched,  and soaked up the sun for awhile before moving on. ;D

Nice photo pard, If that was my hay at least one of those yotes would not have moved on!
Not sure how you feel about that sort of stuff but its a necessity around here!

Pretty good photo considering the conditions.  One thing about a coyote...they know how to enjoy a nice spring day.

Looks like you will have plenty of seed-stock for next falls hunting.

And you didn't try to put a sneak on them?

Between me ~ n ~ them it's wide open spaces.    Last fall I stacked all my hay there as a blind so that I could pick a few of 'em off in that particular area.    They'd raised a litter there all summer, then poof, they disappeared.   Now they're back.  I'll get'em.......  Well; I said that last year too.  ::)

;) Four, makes my trigger finger itch. But they are a beautiful sight. ;) I love to shoot 'em, but they are my finest game. I can hunt 'em every day of the year, and most folks are happy to have them shot. :D No points restrictions, closed seasons, or other crap to deal with when hunting coyotes.  ;D :D ;) :)

If I was to see a sight like that I would have been looking for a way to get a shot even if I was in a hurry. Sure makes a nice picture though.
