Does any body shoot the 209x50 black powder pistol barrel? How is it in regards to accuracy and effectiveness?

 Thanks , Pat

I have been working with  a 15" 209x50 barrel. 295 powerbelt and 70 grains of ff 777 powder gets 1350 fps and 1" or less groups at 50 yards.  I hope to shoot later this week and see if can increase powder charge and still keep accuracy. Have only been shooting with open sights. drichi

Thanks for the come back and info Drichi. I appreciate it. I have used a S&W 44 mag w a 2.5 x scope and it is accurate and taken deer out to 87 paces with reloads. It's a model 29 and I,ve never needed the other 5 shots.
I currently have an Encore rifle w stainless receiver  and SS 209x50 ML barrel and also a .260 Rem barrel  with walnut stock. It is really my favorite deer rig. I'm thinking about setting up an Encore hand cannon with the engraved stainless and gold receiver, walnut stock and possibly starting out with the 15" ML barrel.
