A Great Hobby
« on: October 13, 2009, 11:58:03 AM »
I have had a Beeman Hurricane, .22 caliber,  a # of years, never shot it much.
I finally got it out, set up a safe target in my back yard.
I live in a subdivision.
It's a lot of fun.
The longest shot I can set up for is about 20 yds, I ought to measure it, I guess.
If it's raining, I can stand in the garage, by the door.
And I can do this almost any time I want.

This is a great hobby. I try to shoot mine everyday. You will not believe how much your other handgun shooting will improve. I am one lucky man, can shoot off my front porch and also shoot in the back. I even kill squirrels with mine, no problem.

I have some fine German made air rifles that I enjoy shooting, but most of my air gun shooting is with my handgun air guns. I shoot the Mark I and Mark II's and the Crosman 2240's the most. My rifles except the pump up one, are Beeman R-1 and the RWS-34's. I prefer the 22 calibers in all. I have killed many squirrels with my 177 air rifle, tho.
