Marlin has been making barrels for H&R, still is, the new hammer forged barrel making facility in Ilion isn't online yet and it remains to be seen if they'll be making any H&R barrels.

I"m not sure that all that much of a bad thing. A bench rest shooter once told me that the weak point of the Remington 700 VS I was shooting at the time was the barrel. The action is great because of the fast lock time. Barrels unfortunately just aren't all that good.

what is there turn-around time now with the new barrel?
The last time I sent the action in for a barrel it took around 12 weeks.
