I found one in an older Hornady book that starts at 40.8g of IMR 3031 and goes higher than I did. I stopped at 50.0g with good accuracy and it works in my Handi and my Marlin. This printing is from 1973 and powder may have changed. Check on the MarlinOwners site and do a search for 444 loads, they have some as well. ALWAYS check and recheck any load data given to you by some one else. I don't like to give out loads, but I had the manuel open and in front of me as I typed and have triple checked my typing of the charges. Wouldn't even hurt to contact the Powder company and see what they recommend. DP
