92FS Inox and +P ammo
« on: May 12, 2008, 03:50:25 AM »
Is the Inox version of the 92FS rated for shooting +P or +P+ ammunition.  Also, while we're on the subject, what's your favorite defense round for your Beretta 92FS?

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is +P ammo. I presume it works at a higher pressure than standard. Is it the military (NATO) version of 9mm Luger?

(Thinking about getting an Inox)

Yes, +P ammo is loaded to higher pressures than standard SAAMI specs.  I believe most NATO 9x19 is loaded to +P specs.  I sold this pistol a while ago and bought a GLOCK 17 which can handle any commercially made 9x19 from any country.
