H&R Model 65
« on: April 07, 2009, 04:28:46 PM »
I have “inherited” what seems to be an H&R Model 65 (civilian model most likely – later version – picture links below) from my father who is (and has been for some time) unable to perform upkeep and unable to tell me anything about it (i.e. if he has magazines, where if came from, how long he owned it, etc.) due to Alzheimer’s.

The scope is apparently a “make do” add on. Outside of that, it is just VERY dusty, dirty and has some rust I can see (sat under the bed for years).

I need any information I can get about cleaning it, takedown, etc. Information about where I can obtain manuals, magazines (I have none), parts, etc. would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I googled quite a few hits on it, that would be a good place to start. Numrich has stocks for it, they list it for the M65 and M165, no schematic tho.
