Here's my .02 worth, and I'm in the business. You guys remember last summer and fall, when if you took a load of scrap into the recycle place, and got over $2.00/lb. for brass and copper. And lead shot jumped to $50 a bag. Your now seeing the result of that. All the ammo you bought last year, was when the price was reasonable. Will the price go down. Eventually. Anytime soon, probably not. The firearms industry doesn't have the turn around speed that your local gas station has. How many gun shops have you in your city compared to gas stations. And how many people buy gas, compared to ammo and reloading components.So the price's will probably stay high, until the new lower metal price's catch up with the demand. gypsyman
