Randy,

You sent me a private message about a month ago. I responded three times right after you sent it and I am quite sure it never went through. I am not technologically advanced with the forums new systems and never had lessons. Even though it was a month later, I felt bad and tried again, still no go, when I type the response, it just goes to never never land. I do not want you to think I am rude.

To answer your question: I like the factory.223 fine, I get 1 and 1/2 groups at 100 yards. I have not experimented with many types of ammo, so I expect I can get better. I am going to try the Winchester 45 grain whitebox ammo, I hear it works well in the Encore .223.

P.S.: can anyone give me lessons on how too respond to a private message in the new forum system, because I am getting nowhere. I apologize for responding in the open system, I just didn't know another way to get it done.

You respond to a PM exactly the same way you do to a thread here on the forums. Down at the bottom of your message you'll find a block labeled post reply. Click it and a box will come up that looks much like the one here on the forums.

Type in your message and hit submit just like with a post here on the forums. Wait for it to do it's thing and it will tell you your message was successfully sent or not as the case might be.
