I've never seen one with the 24", mine wears a 20"  The 45 can be had with the 24 and loaded hot or light.  DP

Took the new Stainless 454 out to try and she was spot on without touching the sights at 25yd.  The Williams Fire Sights are way good.  Even with these old eyes it was easy to line up red-green-red and watch the big rocks turn into gravel ;D.  Two of us each shot about 20 rounds and agree she is sweet.  Ran 10 rounds of 45 colt with 315g Keith SWC on top of 21.0g of LilGun and that feed perfect.  Another welcome addition to the family.  DP

I have a 20" Puma in 454 Casull and found the stock fiber optic rear sight to be about the worst rear sight I have ever used.

Turfed it as fast as I could and installed my spare Marlin 1895GS rear sight on it instead now I have a shooter that handles everything from light 200gr cast 45 Colt loads to my top 405gr cast 454 Casull loads.

Hey Guys,

I put a Willaims peep on both my .357 and .454.  They are pretty cheap but really work.  Had to pay to have it drilled and tapped but well worth it.  The first time I shot it,  I used the Corbon "heavy" .454 loads.  It kicked like a drunk mule!  I would recommened the .45 LC loads or lighter .454 loads the first ime out for a new owner.  This really is a light, handy mini .45-70.
