Good morning everyone, well no snow this morning just a slight breeze along with cool temps.

The coffee is hot, and that makes it okay  ::)

It's 25 degrees and blowing snow.,  The braai has 6 1/2 inches of snow on it. I had to shovel the walk for the dogs.  The snow was above their bellies.  When I dug out the walk. I found the bottom 4 or 5 inches was the heavy wet snow we have been getting for the past two days but the top layer was the light dry winter snow that blows all over.  We do have some serious drifts this morning.

I'm ready today for Fridays warmer weather.

We are now hearing that US 2 is closed between Shelby and Cut Bank due to an accident blocking the highway.

The snow isn't sticking down here in Missoula Valley.  The line where snow is sticking is somewhere around 4,500 feet.
I worked a half day today.  Work is really patchy right now.  I am working a full day tomorrow then who knows ??? after that.    Just have to smile and take it one day at a time.  Anytime not working is time to roam around and look for critters here in Western Montana and that make it all right :D.
Saturday, looks like a good day for shooting.  They say its suppose to be 60 degrees.
  Ya'all have a fine evenning.

howdy everybody,
I just got back from a short little ride. This snow is melting as fast as it hits the ground up to about 4500 feet or so, but the melting snow is greening up the grass on the hills.  I saw some more elk in the usual spots.  I feel like I am getting a quite bit more acquainted with the elk just south of Missoula.
I hear tell, that Glacier got 5 feet.  Fantastic.
