Would like info on AR bows ASAP
« on: September 12, 2003, 09:06:05 AM »
I just got off the phone with my archery dealer and he is trying to sell as many bows as possible right now (overstocked).
He has an abundance of AR 31, 34, and i think he said 37.
I am interested in the 31 inch. It retails up near or past the $600 mark and he said he'll sell it to me for $500 bare bow!!!
I really don't want to pass this up.
Also, i called a new pro shop here that has Kodiak bows. I also have been interested in them for some time now. He said that he would sell the KO32 for $600. All it comes with is a sight and rest.

I really would like some info about the AR bows. I have read in reveiws that they are really good!!!
Don't worry though, I'm still hugh Hoyt fan ;)

I don't mean to be uninformed, but I had to go look up AR Bows, never heard of them.  Just a quick reference here for anyone in the same boat.
01magnatec , have you shot one, or hunted with one??  Has anyone you know had one for a while, and "put it through the mill?  Seems if it is a custom craft, or minor brand name, you should talk to a current owner.   :D

no. Never shot or owned one.  I have known about the company for a while though.  I have seen reveiws of their bows in magazines for the past two years. And the reveiws were never bad.
I think i'm going to head over to his shop today and talk to him about a cam 1/2 instead though.

AR bows are made by PSE. I think the AR stands for Archery Research or something to that effect. Looks like PSE is still chasing Mathews so these should be good state of the art bows if you like the parallel limb design..
