War on Drugs *not what you think*

I'll agreed to leave the legality of drugs alone and for the sake of argument accept the fact that as of right now they are illegal.

Here is my concern....  We have ALOT of troops in Afganistan right now.  Afganistan is where a significant portion of illegal opium poppys are grown.  My question... Why are we not napalming or cluster boming these fields? If we are truly fighting the War on Drugs, they would be the perfect target of opprotunity.  We're operating there, we have the assets on hand, they are very easty to target from the air, and you can kill two birds with one stone...(see link  ). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/00681/opium-poppy-field-a_681574c.jpg

These illegal farms are supposed to be the 2nd or 3rd largest source of funding for terrorism behind oil and private funding.  So...if we are serious about either the War on Terror, the War on Drugs, and/or both...why are these fields allowed to stand untouched?

why not buy them then destory them , it would be more cost effective and cut the middle man out .

All joking aside, I truly believe that complete legalization is the least bad choice on the table by a wide margin.

There is no war on drugs, there is no war on terror. The terrorists are in DC and are running the country. The plan in place dictated by the super rich cabal who owns the politicians is to reduce the world's human population by 80%+ to perhaps as much as 90%. Illegal drugs and the lie of the war on drugs and war on terror as just a couple of means they have to make it happen. Aids is yet another.

Yep, that's pretty much what I think.  I just thought I'd throw it out there and let some people chew on it for a while and start asking questions about their ENTIRE government and not fall into the trap of the "Those Evil Democrat" or "Those Facist Republicans" and realize that they're one in the same and while everyone may not be in it...someone is getting paid to let these fields stand.
