« on: March 04, 2009, 03:10:57 PM »
Just got it finished today. Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, genuine bedliner finish. ;D Anybody else have one like it?

Good work Busta!! Is there a Boyd's laminated stock under the bedliner?  ??? I don't think I could do that to one, myself.  :-\

Guilty as charged. ;D The ones I got from BV Pawn you could, they were beyond seconds, I think they were thirds.  >:( I filled in the void with JB Weld and rough sanded it and sprayed away. I did this in my basement, it is cooler down there, I didn't think of it at the time but I should have brought the can upstairs to warm it up first. It turned out a little on the rough side (thicker splatter) as compared to the factory synthetics, but it sure wont slip out of my hands. ;)

Here it is in it's previous life.

I forgot about that one, I've got a couple Boyd's seconds direct from them and neither is that bad. :-\  Well done, you made the most out of it and it came out looking great, maybe Remington will take a hint and offer a synthetic version that looks as good!  ;)

I went to Boyd's site and could not fine any stocks for the Huntsman/Sidekick. Apparently you got that some time ago, or is there a secret way to get one????

Keith,

They're available from H&R, listed on the accessory barrel page, the only time Boyd's sells them is when they have seconds or overruns, they don't offer them as a normally stocked item.

Tim

I forgot to mention Boyd's always lists them as NEF Sterling when they have them.

" MAMMA, can I have one of them?,"  asked the little boy.  I don't think so, at least not until the fella who makes them and the majority of his sales managers and accountants all happen to be left-handed like you!
