 i think not.. in other countries it was hitler, stalin ,hussein etc that controlled news media.. here its the powers owning the media itself..
 they freez out any opinion other than liberal by public ,politically correct bashing [ie letterman].... our young folk soak it up .. at least it seems so to me.. tell me where i can listen to ,or watch unbiased reporting or entertainment.. really i got sat tv... id love to tune in something that wasn t liberal based. slim

Hasn't there been some talk about Fox News becoming the next political party??? Seems they disagree with both of the others and have been making or posting some of their own decisions.  Could be interesting.

My wife and I watch some of the main stream media,and have to laugh when some congress men or public figure get in trouble,if it's a republican there is a big (R) next to his name,but if nothing is put up or said we know it's a democrat.Fox is the only one we watch to get the news,the other ones are good for the weather,sometimes.

Geez there we go again ;)  You'd be surprised at how many of us young folk don't watch mainstream news at all.  Honestly I get most of my National news from Glenn Beck.  Listen to him every morning on the internet and watch his show when I get the chance.  He's unbias to the point of making FOX News look bad.

To be truthfully honest, I can't name a single "young" friend of mine that gets their news from any mainstream outlet...

Letterman can kiss my  as... uh...hindside.  What a lib...

 im proud to know you single shot.. i speak of young folks in my own family,an thier friends ..
  thats the ones i hear making comments an some seem to have bought the whole liberal line ..hook line an sinker..a few not so gullible..but they hear it constantly
lotta times its some movie star they like ,,say playin a part in a movie .. a scripted role,,or it could be the same person on a talk show.. acting as if its absolutely
a fact that guns are terrible.. of course the moderator reinforces that opinion in most cases..
 in any case i look on it as manipulation of the masses ..
i kinda got away from the news reporting,but i think our freedom is under attack on a broad scale..slim

I would agree with this and my group of buddies. We as a group don't watch sports, or sit around watching the idiot box all weekend.

We do fish and hunt and when we talk we all agree that the MSM is the worst bunch of libtards and we can't stand Barry. Once the liberals won in November....cable went down to the most basic package in my house. I refuse to watch that guy or even hear his name. He makes me sick.

I agree that their are a large amount of young people that have bought into this whole Socialist mentality Slim rem.  There were a lot of old people bought into it too.  Thus our nations first communist pres ;)

I'm like Fox there... i'd rather hang out with my kid outside and take the family fishing, hiking or go hunting then stare at the glowing talking box.  Like I said, most of my news comes from Glenn Beck and Michael Savage. 

Boy there's a great group of people on this forum...  ;D

The media is definitely more left than right.Newspapers are worse than tv.Getting to where you cant express your opinions anymore,your branded right wing extremist.The funny thing is the media portrays Tim MCveigh as far right.I wasnt aware KKK and Arayan Nation were right wing.But they gotta put a spin on everything.

Not really and it has not existed for many years.

I watch them all a few and a very few on MsnBc CNN and others are not all out fair however they do indeeed report fairly accurately. Fox news as a whole with a few partisan ecxceptions that openly declare that they are commentators and Republican reports the News fairly and accurately.

I watch them all every day and often change the channels to see for myself how eah channel handles the same story. Fox outshines them all in their accuaracy as well as unbiased reporting. It is also glaringly clear that MSNBC as well as CNN will not even report some stories that obviously are in the news. They have often said if asked why not? That some stories have to be editedted or even left out because of time restraints etc..

However most of them are ones that will not reflect well on Obama or someone in his Admistration or even the  policies that he has implemented. They do not deserve to carry the title of a NEWS Program.

I do know this that if your are looking for the single most knowledgable person on  Illegale Immigration it is LOU DOBBS on CNN. I have watched him talk about that subject and warn for over five years as to the things that we are dealing with now. Everyone called him a racist and even an babbling idiot. Well they are wrong I have seen him hammer this problem and talk straight to the then President of Mexico. He questioned the Bush people and hammered them every day. He foretold of the fiasco that we now have. He has my respect as he spared no one or no organization be it Farmworkers Union or other Unions Democrats for their stupid and costly policies of free this and that. Most of all he hammered Bush for turning his head to the problem and letting it get totaly out of control.

News that is accurate and informative without bias is a commodity that is very very hard to come by.

In my neck of the woods these broadcasts are in the wee hours.  For an unbiased news program I usually watch Japan news network.  It is AMAZING the spin of news  generated in the US and being reported by foreign countries.

 i agree singleshot.. i know older socialist that openly say its what they prefer..
 i like if a man knows himself.. i can deal with that.i ll fight for his right to his opinion..but the socialist wouldn t fight for mine ,i fear.. slim
