Crustaceous, in as much as I am familiar with the State of Texas hiring practices, I have never heard of them offering a game warden position to ANYONE. "After" you qualify with the required college hours you make application to be ACCEPTED to the Academy for Texas Parks and Wildlife, and besides the politics involved, as it is a much sought after job, it is not easy to get into the academy. I doubt he could pass the psychological exam, or the LOGICAL exam if there was such a thing. ;D I have friends that have been game wardens for years, and have never heard of such a thing. i.e., I don't believe it for a minute, and if I am wrong (and doubt I, or they are) there still wouldn't be any cop story swap. I am sure you already know that however. :D

The Andy Griffith show, what a classic.

Now back to the Dumas area the real estate seams pretty high on what I have looked at so far.

I would much rather relocate to the Quitman area and have no accepted this job yet. I'm thinking on passing on it as they want me there by august. My daughter does not graduate until the nextjune.

I was accepted for this position as I was a game warden in another state as well as a deputy sheriff. I have been out of LE for 5 years now as when my older brother was elected sheriff I resinged so there was no look of impropriety.

And after reading what many here think ofLEO's I never mentioned it before.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

Don't worry Billy some just seem to have an axe to grind . Nothing worst than getting caught when you think you are smarter than the leo's
