Wanting to get a spare Cylinder

Hi,


Wanting to get a spare cylinder for my O.M. Vaquero.  Anyone have advice on dealing with Ruger and perhaps current prices.

I am sure that Ruger will only sell one IF they install it, so you would have to ship it back to them. Your first model Vaquero will take cylinders from the N.M. Blackhawks ( 2 screw, don't know about the newest smaller framed ones ), so it should not be difficult to find one. If no one here can help, keep an eye on on-line firearms auction sites, pistol parts ( yeah, I know it's a revolver, but the one site I watch lists "pistol parts". THEN, hopefully, once you find one, it will fit your frame properly.

I did forget to mention that I have a 45lc and want a 45acp for the spare.

I have had Ruger fit .45 ACP cylinders to stainless NMBHs in .45 Colt. I asked for the same for one of the SS .45 Colt Bisleys and they wouldn't do it, even though they have sold that configuration. They have sold the First Gen Vaquero with both cylinders. Call and see if they will do yours.

Well,  I just called Ruger and they said no...




Anyone have a spare cylinder for sale or trade...  Looks like that will be the only way to get one.
