The kids should know the drill by now, but they just didn't rise to the occasion. I had to prompt them yesterday for what they were going to do for mother's day. Their answers were adequate. But this morning they didn't do what they needed to do. They had to offer to make breakfast, and I had to wake my son up because kids don't get to sleep in on mother's day. They have to get up and take care of business.
Now as for father's day, it really should be in March or some other dismal month. Placed in June as it is, it just interferes with important stuff like fishing and shooting. I don't want any part of it.
