Finally got my "Loaner" gear together
« on: September 13, 2003, 04:02:10 AM »
Just got a shotgun slide and a pair of holsters from Big Ed.  These along with my two back-up Ubertis will let me host new shooters and not have to go begging to the other club members for gear.  Not that they would mind but you never know when they are bringing someone new and have already loaned theirs out.
With the weather starting to "think" about being Fall, it's getting to be a great time of the  year for CAS and new pards

Seems like all of my stuff is loaner equipment.  I take a cart full and hope I have it all again when I get home!  Haw!
But what is liberty without wisdom, and without virtue? It is the greatest of all possible evils; for it is folly, vice, and madness, without tuition or restraint.  - Edmund Burke

Way to go pard. You do a great service. I might have never got started if it wern't for the generosity of shooters. I shot my entire first match with completely borrowed gear. I got hooked and for the next few months as I was accumulating my stuff, I needed to borrow one thing or another. I sure thanks folks like you that help to get new folks started or even help out a pard that breaks down during a match. Thanks for showing the cowboy way.
yer pard,
