D-11 Pork Chop gun
« on: July 10, 2009, 06:17:58 PM »
Bought a plenty used DW .357 recently & shot a 1.2"  & 1.6" group at 20 yards.  Best DA revolver / iron sight group I ever shot.  Off a rest.  Really pleased.  Odd looking gun.  Nickle plated.  Factory??

I have to "guess" where the sights are supposed to be ~olde eyes~.  I line up the fuzzy things on the barrel with the target.  Oh well.....

I'm thinking I should buy more DW guns.  Are the Supermags this accurate?

Added picher a' da handel I made in me sellar over the weakand whilst nobudy were lookin'  ( I switched frum Webster to hooked on fonics, too. Don't laff, if'n I could learn that their deficet spending, I culd be prisedint soneday)
Vote them all out, EVERY election!

Does anyone remember the scene from "Quigley Down Under" showing the aborigines lined up on the skyline as far as you could see?   That needs to be US!

As the owner of a 357 supermag since 1991, I can say that mine is.  I've owned DW revolvers since the 70's and all have been tac drivers.  Congrats on your intro into the world DW.  There is also a DW specific site; danwessonforum.com check them out.

Is this in the  condor zone? I bought some 95gr 38/357 magtech all copper bullets from midwayusa to load in my 38spec brass for a  rossi mod 88 5 shot & s&w mod 19 357 6 shot if I get a chance to go pig hunting.

I shot my pigs with flat nose GC, 310 gr. , .44 mag. about 50 miles west of Escanaba.  That's in the Yooper zone.

Dead.  That's what they were after I shot 'em.
