:D When I first wrote this thread, I was going to write taking, but I am sick and tired of the " politically correct"  people in our world. We are going to make a trip to visit relatives in Pa. So might as well go when there is some hunting. So how is the turkey hunt going???? If I get the chance, I will kill one. ;D :D ;) :)

I have heard birds a good many mournings when leaving for work. I haven't had a chance to get out, but my Son and Nephew each got nice birds.

Here in MN the season is going strong. I shot mine yesterday morning.

Been doing good! I called in a pair of long beards for the boys and they both missed on opening day of junior season. The opening day of adult I called a pair away from a hen and my partner and I both scored!
This Saturday it's the boys chance again!

I'd say come on over and bring the 12ga. I've had this stubborn one that just will not show for me the last 4 mornings. I sneak down and find him on roost....get about 40 yards from him and set up...but I can't get him to come in that last 5 yards and show. He's roundin up his hens....and drivin me crazy!!!

But....I'm having a great time!! You know....being out in the woods at 4:45am. Where else would you want to be?
