You sure that's the right link hunt-m-up? Didn't see anything about a knife or a youth. It was a good story though.

Sorry, realize I wasn't too clear on that. If you look on the right hand side you will see the people he assaulted, mostly very young women, and one of them was a man and women and he held the guy at bay with a knife.
I just found it interesting no weapons on the part of anyone he assaulted. I want my daughter to be the one who will dump him where he stands if he tries to break her door down.

Got it hunt-m-up. I hadn't read the sidebars - thought they were advertisements. ;) I agree that our children, especially daughters, should learn some form of self-defense. I tried to get my daughter to start karate lessons last December, but she wanted to take dancing lessons instead. I'm still working on her though.

I have a 11-year old who is pretty into band and dance right now, but every once in awhile I can get her to take a few pokes with the Buckmark.
