I am guessing here but it does not appear there are a lot of Stevens 512 owners on GBO.  Do you have a picture or link that you can post?

thanks
Doug

I know this is may be a bit late, but I have one in .410 and I love it, goes bang every time, nice finish on it, nothing too fancy and doesnt have a really cheap feel to it. Points and shoots well.

the only negative Is the bluing on mine where the barrel/frame swivel is wearing a little, nothing major though

Good luck

Dave

I bought one for my son in January for his birthday. He has only put a couple of boxes of field loads through it but said it felt similar to my Red Label. He did struggle with the selector/safety. It would hang up in the center position on occasion and he couldn't disengage the safety when it did so.
Just another worthless opinion!!
