Ok, I know, I know. But it's been a while since I asked anything about it but I finally got some BP to use. I have some Murphy's Oil soap, hp and water mixed. Is the water/machine oil/milk as good, better, etc. For long term (week, month, next season) what kind of lube do you use? Can you use Ballistol with any of these homemade mixes? Do you need to? Is bore butter the way to go?
