Would you recommend I get the posi-lock on the burris 2x7 scope?
I putting it on an encore 7mm-08.

Personally, I don't think you need one for 7-08.  I do have one posi-lock scope on my 7.82 Patriot, but I never use the Posi-lock feature.  I am push a 150 grain @ 3001 FPS and a 180 grain bullet @ 2725 FPS and it hasn't been a problem for me yet.  Scope is the 3-12 Burris LER.

i agree, i don't think you need it. i have a 3x12 burris w/ no posi lock on my 15" 7-08. does just fine. :D

Thank you for the responses.  I think im ready to go ahead and get the scope now before gun season starts here in GA. (oct. 18th).  You guys have been a great help.  Look forward to posting about shooting a deer with the encore pretty soon.
