green mono

does clear mono work any better than green cause i just bought a huge bulk of green 30 pound test trilene.i mean does clear mono get more bites or is it the same

It's really more a preference then anything else.  Most color mono is very comparable.  I have used most of them - clear, green, blue, red, yellow and even a purple one.  My favorites are probably red and green but all preformed well. 

I use the green trilene a lot.  It is my favorite affordable line.

I use mostly green, some clear, both catch fish (sometimes!).

I don't think it really matters much to the fish, but it gives the fishing scribes something to write about.

To my eye, green does not stand out in the water as much as clear. Don't know if the fish see it the same way or not. I always buy green myself.

Clear for me except when I`m using braid, then it`s green.

Clear might be better through the ice or on panfish/bass in real clear water, but I've been using the green Trilene, also some called specifically Riverline, for cats for 10 years or so and I like it.

well as i had observed green trilene are more affordable, I don't think theres a difference between them except for their colors.
