Telescoping poles
« on: October 18, 2009, 01:20:43 AM »
When I was a kid I used a cane pole.  I now have 3 fiberglass telescoing poles.  They're a blast to fish with, but one characteristic of them always bugs me.  How do I rig it so the line dosen't sag and get tangled between the eye and the clips on the handle?? Since there are no bamboo joints to use for that purpose.  I like being able to shorten or lengthen how much line I have out by just un-winding another turn or two from the clips, depending on wether I'm fishing from the boat or off the dock or the shore.  How do you guys do it??
