I'am buying my first 17 and was wondering what brand of ammo everybody is having good luck with, as
far as 17gr. goes?

Thanks,

I have real good accuracy with CCI-TNT ammo. Just yesterday I took out a medium sized groundhog at a distance of about 20 yards. It was up a tree and the bullet hit it just where the head meets the neck and it fell like a ton of bricks. I have this Sportster sighted in at 50 yards and it will put them inside a dime, real easy every time...

I shoot both, can't really tell any difference between the two.

A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Went to Wallyworld to buy the Hornady's...  all they had left
were the CCI TNT HP's...   Got sub inch groups repeatedly...
at 100 yards - good enough for me!

Fun gun to have!   :D
