Finally took my .357 out yesterday (bought in classifieds a couple months ago). As the previous owners stated 1" MOA !!!! What made it even better is I took my two kids and new girlfriend...She is a teacher...Yup, totally liberal Obama supporter. She had never even held a firearm before. She had a total blast and her views on gun control have been drastically changed...Imagine her surprise as she was telling me all about the characteristics of the guns she had a great time shooting. I let her know that one of them she liked most was "The most evil gun in the world" (according to libs), the AK47!! She was floored to say the least, and with the grin plastered on her face understands how firearms can be very enjoyable. She was not just trying to "impress" me, because our opinions are still drastically different on a few subjects (don't worry, I'll show her the light in time...)..She now wants to buy herself a .22 rifle and revolver, because she liked mine so much. Next to the AK, that .357 was her favorite, so looks like I'm on the prowl for more barrels...Guess another .22 versa barrel is at the top of the list, since 357's are almost impossible to find lately....What a great F-day!

Amazing how people are so against guns, until they go to the range and actually try them out.  We should all be taking liberals to the gun range and educating them on how 99.99% of the guns in this world actually get use.  Sounds to me like your lady is coming around.

That is most of the problem with the liberal left most of what they try and stand for and believe is something they really know absolutly nothing about other than what the sheep hearders have led them to believe. If they could just grab the fact that guns don't kill people and that it's people who kill people half of them would turn on a dime. congrats on the new girls. Kurt

A lot of good points here, our best defense as gun owners is to take as many new people shooting as we can regardless of their political views or stance on gun control. This past Thanksgiving I was finally able to get my mom (a Ted Kennedy loving Massachusetts liberal) to go to the range and shoot my daughter's Versa Pack. She's 62 and it was her first time ever shooting a gun. She took one shot at the target and looked at me and smiled and said "that was kind of fun". I think it definitely changed her views a little bit after seeing how well her granddaughter can shoot.

I never told her what the Survivor stock was for, or called for that matter. She asked what was in there and I let her know it was hollow, and she asked "couldn't you put like matches and first aid kit in there, for emergencies or something?" Yeah, I think it will be possible to turn this lib! I wouldn't have thought so as we watched the inauguration and she was actually crying, because it was so "monumental"...I was practically crying for another reason...

Next challenge- Global Warming...Yes, it is happening. Has been ever since the last ice age!
