The last refuge of a reprobate...do you agree ?

  The last refuge of people (politicians especially) who don't really like America..is a phony  display of anger anger, followed by a statement such as;

   "How dare you question my patriotism ?"

     Sorry wimp, but I will question your patriotism if;
 
  1) You are willing to trash the Bill of Rights.

  2) You are willing especially, to crush the 2nd amendment in the face of an ever increasing tyrannical regime.

  3) You don't mind that illegals are voting in our elections.

 4) You don't mind that illegals are crossing our borders by the thousands every month.

 5) You insist that foreign terrorists be given full US Constitutional rights.

 6) You insist that terrorist prisoners be treated with "kid gloves", while you bring no voice of complaint about torture and sawing off of heads by terrorists when they have helpless captives.

 7) You make a big noise about underwear on terrorist prisoner's heads..and say nothing about prisoners of the terrorists not being able to keep their heads.

You vocally trash our brave troops..while you do not have the guts enough to make you worthy carry to their canteen.

 9) You are willing to accept "goodies" from a government in exchange for your rights.

 10) You consider government to be your god (God help you!)..GOD is not spelled GOV..

 11) You are willing to follow a glib charlatan, and turn your country's future over to him.

  There's 11 for starters, but any of them would be grounds to question someone's patriotism..agreed ?

 yep especially that last part ..i don t want to hear anybody trashing our troops.. this old man probably be foolish again..do you hear that a lot where you live...
 i over heard a lady at the flea market shuddering because she saw a gun under a fellas shirt..... i just walked up an reasoned with her..... i said ,suppose some fellas girl gives him the drop kick..... he comes out here an starts shooting,probably more to commit suicide than anything else..... i lifted my shirt an told her i can stop him
if hes within 25 yrds,or so..... i told her that could have an would have happened in some of these crazy killings,,if good men an women were responcible enough to carry an know how to use it.. . little light went on.. she said bless you an have a safe day.

You were taking your chances Slim.  What if the woman screamed "HELP POLICE!" when you flashed her your sidearm?

You could have been arrested for "brandishing a firearm with the intent to cause terror". No lie, this is an actual charge that could be brought against you.  Never flash your gun in public even if you have a ccw it could lead to a big hassle for you.  You could have given her essentially made the same speech without flashing your piece.

   Brett was correct, at least where I live. "Brandishing" is a serious charge..Frankly, I see no harm if one is simply showing but not threatening...but I am not the PC Police!  Around here, if they just see the tip of the butt of the gun, they can nail you.
   Sometimes I think it may be just a way to "get somebody", but that's the way it is..
