New Guy Introduction
« on: January 09, 2011, 11:03:43 AM »
I have been a Henry owner for years now. I have bought them for my daughter and son in law my older bother and my wife. The one that I cant wait to give away is to my grandson when he gets a bit older than a year and a half.
My collection consist of 2 Golden Boys, 2 Big Boys (357 & 44) H001 & H001T and lets not forget the Survival Rifle. I am also on the Rimfire forum and enjoy the info their but having other folks with Big Boys is a great resource.

Welcome to GBO.That is one great collection of Henry's. I only have one Henry but many Winchester's and Marlin's. Your right when you say having other folks with Big Boys is a great resource. Many times I have needed the help from other members with great results. Glad to have you on board!!!!

Hi Randy,
Yes that is the work of Lever. He has made a number of slings and butt covers for me over the years. He is a very tallented fellow. The Henry is my favorite but he made one with a grizzly on it that I really like.

I really like that!!!! Where did you find it? If I could find the right one I would put it on the Big Boy. I have seen a few that were brass but really pricey.

My wife told me to tell you thanks for showing me that Malcolm. At one time I was on a hot search for one for the Henry and kinda gave up because of the price. I have located one that is made of brass for around 400.00 bucks. I guess I'll have to do a little sweet talkin, who knows, maybe I'll end up with one on my Big Boy.

Very cool, I have the machine shop here at work making a mount for my 2 Big Boys right now. I'll let you know how they come out.
