RECEIVER SIGHTS for a Parker-Hale rifle

Ok I am looking for a nice click adjustable (Elevation and Windage something like the Lyman 48)  reciever sight to fit my Parker-Hale 1100 rifle. As you may be aware P-H used a modified Mauser 98 action in that the 1100 De luxe has no thumb cut and no hump and charger slot.

No I know that Lyman used to make a suitable sight as did Williams I believe and possibly Redfield but I am unsure exactly which models will fit. Lyman made the 48 to suit various rifles with each application designated by a series of letters, according to Whelan's book "The Hunting Rifle" the Lyman 48WJS fits the Model 70 Winchester (pre 64 of course) but he does not mention the model designation for a Mauser and of coure P-H were not making their rifles when this book was written.

Anyone have an idea?

The Williams FoolProof (FP) peeps that will fit your rifle are the FP-98, or the FP-98-TK, which has large target knobs for adjusting w/e ILO a screwdriver slot, which is (of course) "fool proof".   

Likewise, Lyman makes their 57 peep either with or w/o target knobs - being the 57SME ("hunter's" knobs) or the 57SMET, which is the target knob model.

Of course, if your rifle isn't factory prepped for a peep, i.e. drilled/tapped, the receiver bridge will need two holes D/T in it's side for either.
