Obama crossing the aisle will hurt Republicians
« on: June 02, 2009, 05:38:52 PM »
Obama keeps crossing the aisle to fill cabinet positions.  this looks great, till you realize the people being chosen are US Senators and Republicans.  these Senators will be replaced by their state governors who I bet are Democrates.  And the Governors will replace them with Democrats.  Once in place incumbents are near impossible to defeat.  Obama will have a filibuster proof Senate very quickly.  And when the cabinet member does not perform as directed he can be replaced with a new cabinet member.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

The republicans are so good at hurting themselves that anything Obama does hardly matters.

+1

Those fine outstanding Republicans would turn the Obama appointment down if they really cared
about their party.  Their desire to be big time movers and shakers over rides their loyalty to the party.

It does not look so good if your a conservative, or ex conservative republican.

Republicans are all done....it's over for them and I say good.
They have done nothing to save conservatism.

After the other govt. jobs are full, there's always GM to appoint them to. :(
