Since Remington is owned by a larger corperate group, are they going to be looking out for the best interest of Remington?

Now what happens if Remington fails?  It's like all our eggs in one basket.

Do you think the government will give them a bail out?

Conspiracy theory:  Large corporation, at government urging buys all gun makers.  They undercut and run the rest out of business.  Then one day they shut down all gun making operations.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Let's hope not, Steve Fienberg IS a hunter afterall, at least he's not anti-gun.  ;)

Hope the small independent gun makers west of the river make it. Just need some powder and primer makers are over there. Future prognosticators of the 60's & 70's in magazines like "Mother Earth News" and others said the US would be 5 or 6 different countries after it's demise as the world power. Gets scarey if you take it far enough. eddie

I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

Then Remington would have the most accurate single shot and Bolt action rifle. The Handi and the 110.
