14th Ethics Charge dismissed against Palin
« on: June 04, 2009, 05:44:31 AM »
As mayor of Wasilla, Sara Palin turned a lot of people against her when she started cleaning house and stopping the corruption going on in city government.  The people she fired and their families hate her for doing a good job.  She created more enemies when she did not lie down and shut up when she was appointed to a position with the state.  She saw waste and corruption and went after it.  Now the families of the people that are in prison due to the investigations she started hate her and are the ones doing everything they can do to discredit her in every way possible.  One person said she wants to make Sara's life miserable, and keep her so busy defending herself it will interfere and maybe cost her her job.  She has put in several of these ethics complaints.

Number 14 of 22 ethics charges has been dismissed as frivolous and having no merit, just as the previous 13.  The charge was that she was wearing a jacket with Arctic Cat logos on it when she officiated as the official starter of the Iron Dog snow machine race.  Wearing that jacket could possibly cause her to have a personal financial gain.

OK, lets get real here.  All Alaskans have at one time or another had a jacket with a logo of some type on it.  Her family rides Arctic Cat snow machines, and have for years.  When you buy a new snow machine, the dealer gives you what they call Cat Cash.  It can be used towards the purchase of clothing or accessories.  The clothing they carry has Arctic Cat logos all over it.  Sara like all Alaska kids grew up wearing Arctic Cat, Ski-Doo, Yamaha, or John Deere jackets.  I bet all her kids wear Arctic Cat jackets, and have all their lives.  I know because Cat Cash is why my wife has a very warm and stylish jacket with Arctic Cat on the front and back.  Mine is Yellow and Black and says Ski Doo.  These jackets are made from the very best of materials and last a long time.  Also Todd Palin is sponsored by Arctic Cat, and rides for Team Arctic.

Any way the ethics board said the charge was frivolous and has cost both Sara Palin personally, and the state time and money.

I'm thinking about ethics complaint number 17 or 18.  While in Fairbanks to see the finish of the Iron Dog, Bristal was doing an interview with Greta VanSestron.  During the interview Sara made an appearance, then got word Todd was coming in to the finish.  Wheather it was hers or not is unclear, it was just a jacket.  Being 25 below that day she was not going out without one.  Again it said Arctic Cat, and being unaware of the previous complaint, no one but the lady making the complaint even noticed.

This is the kind of things our lady Governor is having to put up with.  Good thing she is a Hockey Mom, you know a Pit Bull with lip stick.  This phrase reminds me of the first time I saw her.  She was standing at the Wasilla end of the hockey rink, hands on the plexiglass, screaming at the top of her lungs, about the last play.  Just like other Hockey Moms she was getting into the game.  That's why the plexiglass is between them and the reffs.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
