I like the belt clip also.  The pistol can still be carried in a pocket as well, even if you have the clip.  This offers me more opportunity to carry to fit the occasion.
Have you tried a PF 9 yet?  If you like the P3AT, I believe that you would love the 9mm.   A little bigger and not as concealable, but a great shooter.

I have a good representation of KT pistols. Among them are two P3ATs, one with the left side pocket clip, the other I carry in a Desantis Nemisis pocket holster. Between the two I always have something appropriate for casual carry. The belt clip works well for IWB carry as well. Just be sure to apply a coat of car wax to prevent rusting. I'll get around to ordering a belt clip for my PF9 one of these days. Currently carrying it in an IWB holster. I would strongly recommend against boot carry with the pocket clip. I promise ya, it's gonna come flying out at a very bad time someday!! Be extremely careful with pocket carry as well. As the clip is used a lot, it loses some tension. If you sit a lot, crossing and uncrossing your legs, eventually, it will slip out-----------------! You've been warned !

hi,
you remove the large pin in the back of the frame, below the slide action.
with a small punch and a small hammer....tapping lightly.....
they send you a threaded pin that you insert, place clip on frame and install the screw..
its easy.   and nothing flies apart!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
my wife had hers done before i got home from work the day they arrived.
its a good thing!!!!..........but thats my onion--- ;D
