:D Howdy!  That's a great rifle and a great shot at 120 yards!  Congratulations!  I live in East Central Texas and I guess we don't have groundhogs around here---plenty of gophers though.  I'm just curious, but do people eat groundhogs or are they just a pest like prairie dogs and best left to the buzzards and coyotes to clean up after shooting them?  Your views are always appreciated!   Good hunting!!!

Happy Trails!
Always,

I know a few folks that eat the young ones.  But its not my cup of tea.  I just leave them for the scavengers. I am going to try and do a skull on one though.

Then stop shooting them Mafia style in the ear.
I would like to see a skull mount.

The groundhog would be like an armadillo with fur Gene ;D...The young ones are edible but as they get older all of that digging makes them too tough for tablefare.
