Without a doubt Alabama's is smaller.  Alabama gets $1.28 back for every dollar it sends to the Federal Government.  California gets between .75-and 78 cents on the dollar back.

Well now , you are talking about Jefferson county which actually means Birmingham. Birmingham is now 95% black, whites got the hell out and when they left so did the cities tax base. Welfare recipients don't pay taxes.
 They passed an occupation tax that was keeping them afloat, but a judge ruled it illegal and ordered them to not spend any money from this tax. So now they are going down the tube.
  This is happing to most large cities in this country, just as it did in the white run countries that were taken over by blacks in Africa.

It came to my attention a long time ago that one is hard pressed to find a country anywhere that is run by an African that is successful.  I think we're finding out that the same is true about a halfrican.  That's not to say that whites are doing such a bang up job either.

Just my two cents as to the abilities of the mixed race Jefferson County Commision. Incompetence is not a respecter of ethnicity. They're all idiots out for themselves in the short-term.

So I'll just stay in St. Clair County and play on our brand new electronic bingo machines in Ashville. That should fix everything. (What's the emoticon for sarcasm?)
