i just got my encore in 44 mag put together . pac grips 15 in. trophy reddot in blue . went to the range boy this is a sweet shooting handgun. i was shooting at 42 yds at chew cans after i got her i call her (ETHEL) sighted in with win. 240 jsp . then i tried those new leverrevalution 225 grain with the red soft point . they had little more recoil but shot about 2 to 3 inches low at 42 yds i figure maybe they shoot flatter not sure but i will try them both at 100 yds . dose this flatter theory i came up with make any sence let me know what you think .
                                     thanks b44mag

At that range there really won't be any difference in it having a flatter trajectory. The bullet being lighter it will have a slightly higher velocity, so it leaves the barrel a little sooner during recoil. So it will hit lower. The same thing happens in my Super Blackhawk. And some guns just simply shoot different bullets with different POI. Let us know how the 100yd mark treats ya.
