Hey all...
Been here for awhile before I registered but wanted to introduce myself. I'm up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, on the west end, 10 minutes from Lake Superior. Spent 20 years floating around in boats for uncle sam's confused group. Had a good career. learned from a lot of people.
Land lubber now and miss the spray in the face, but not the many sleepless nights or days for that matter loking for someone who was supposed to be in his boat but came in early to go to the bar with his mistress while his wife was waiting on the dock at the marina. :eek:
Hunted in Texas a few years, spent 2 offshore there. Acted like a kid in the candy store when I heard we were going to New Orleans for a couple months. Walked around with the eskimo's and the polar bears. The northern lights took up the entire sky...
But, just bumping the boating section back up.
