Ran some errands this morning and took the Granddaughter out for gophers and rock chuck shooting this afternoon. Kinda cool and cloudy and threatening rain. Went a couple of places looking for a rock chuck, but it was jut two muddy. So we head to the gopher patches.
Gophers were moving but laying low and hard to see.
We still manged to get a few.
Granddaughter believes in dressing appropriately for gopher hunting and here she is in full girly girl camo...
Funny thing. We drove up to a gate. I got out and opened the gate. Turned around to drive the truck through, and there she was behind the wheel and head through the gate. I had not said a word to her. She saw the need and took care of the problem.
She goes home to Illinois Sunday and I am going to miss her.
