WOW your Dick's is much better then mine! I swear I have had to argue with the manager over something or another EVERY SINGLE TIME I'VE BEEN IN THERE FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS!!! Always the same lady too. She recognizes me now when I walk in. The only reason I keep going there is that they are the best about slashing prices when stuff goes out of season. Problem is that you have to argue with them to actually get that price.
I went there after hunting season this year and stocked up on absolutely everything we could possibly need in camp next year. I made a list of everything's price as I grabbed them because of the past problems. After 30 minutes worth of arguing with the manager, I paid the CORRECT price of something like $400. If I had paid the prices that came up in the computer, I would have paid a whopping $650! They were off on nearly half of the "sale" items I had.
One example - Scope -$199 list price *%50 off* - Rang up for $150! Spent 5 minutes arguing that one!
Most items just rang up at retail price instead of the sales price but a few were sneaky. Like a warm hat I got that was supposed to be 25% off but rang up 20% off. Most people would see that they got some cash off and been happy. That had to be done on purpose!
I'm still mad over that visit. (As I am sure you can tell)
