Firearms Aboard AMTRAK?

Has anyone heard if the latest round of legislations from Congress now permit firearms aboard AMTRAK just like the airlines? I never heard for sure if it was passed!

I think he means "checked bags", not in your carry-on or on your person.

I went to Glacier, MT last year and was thinking what a great way to travel there for a hunting trip.  But then read that guns were not allowed in baggage, not even hunting bows.

Maybe now they are looking into allowing it........?
