Marlin owners are my sights crooked? LOL

I just bought a very nice 45-70 guidegun, but It seems I didn't notice at the shop the sights are not centered on the gun both the dovetail for the rear and the front.

Now Im gonna switch the sights out for an xs rail and peep, but what Im wondering, is this the way Marlin ships there guns?

Should I send it back for a barrel that has the correct hole and dovetail placement?

This is kinda funny.

If your certain the sights arn't centered I would call Marlin and tell them what you have. I looked at my GG and the sights are dead center on the reciever and barrell.
