There might be interest in a test that I did cleaning 45-70 brass with a ceramic media and a burnishin solution using a Frankford Arsenal Vibrator ...

I have thought about using ceramic media. I have a Thumber's Tumbler model B that is made for wet polishing. The cost has always tuned me off. It seems that you can not buy small lots of media any where - at least I am not aware of any. A good report, by the way.
