Cloudy today and trying to spit rain this evening. 

We had friends in from Virginia and they spent  the night with us.  nice people and nice to have them visit.  They are head up Bosden Alberta for a Victorian Rifle Provincial shoot.

They will be back Monday or Tuesday and will do the tourist thing around here.  After that we'll take them to sights tourist don't get see.

Then next Saturday they will in our Victorian Rifleman shoot, then head to Colorado the following Monday.

Spent the day working on my Martini brass.  Got it all primed and necks flared. As I went through the brass I found a bunch that needed trimmed. 

I also found several with split necks. I have two types of 577/450 brass.  Some is formed from 24 guage brass ballon head shotgun shells..  The other batc is regular drawn solid head cases..   



It's annoying when one of $.80 balloon head case fails , but it realy stings when it is a $4+ solid case

Look on the bright side.  You can cut the head off and make a cutter for pan lubed bullets.

I have several rifle, that shoot the 577/450.

577/450 Can you still move your shoulder Double D? Not that I'm all that recoil sensitive, but the looks of that cartridge sort of made my shoulder go twang. Nice rifles and Kudu there.

Thanks Double D for sharing that picture.   Looks like a good one.   I remember they were pretty popular when I was a kid.  I didn't pay much attention to them then.  Now I don't see many around.
