New "Discovery"?
« on: June 23, 2009, 01:15:29 PM »
I don't know if I have been living under a rock, or if I already knew about this and can't remember it, but today I discovered (or re-discovered) "Prairie State Outdoors".  For Illinoisans it is pretty interesting.  Many of you probably know about it already, but it looks like a good read to me.  I'll be checking it often.

Despite our lack of public land, some of our goofy gun laws, and pathetic politicians, there are still some first class outdoor pursuits to enjoy.  I remember when deer hunting, turkey hunting, and goose hunting were all but non-existent here.
CIVES ARMA FERANT - Let the citizens bear arms.
POLITICIANS SHOULD BE LIMITED TO TWO TERMS - ONE IN OFFICE AND ONE IN PRISON.... Illinois already does this.

That's the truth. Animal numbers were way down. I really started to like Gov. Quinn after he started to take better care of the dnr dept.

Then he showed his true colors.
