BARREL LENGTH

I'm considering getting one of those "lightweighr' Rugers in 257 Roberts. My question is this: How much poop do you loose if you get the 20 inch barrel vs the 22 inch ? Is it enough to make any difference inside of 250 yards?

Inside 250yds you'll never tell the diffrernce. Generally speaking you'll only lose 25 to 35 fps per inch of barrel. Thats just a general figure. KN
